Daily Fantasy Hockey Gold

Two assists by Los Angeles Kings defenseman Randy Jones gives him 17 points in 32 games on the year.  It's really a shame that Jones is as terrible as he is defensively because he would hold some fantasy value if he were more consistent and could gain more ice-time.  Unfortunately Jones is soft, often makes poor passes that lead to turnovers, and isn't very good positionally - three detrimental areas that overshadow the positive things he is capable of doing offensively.

Marc Savard has a grade two concussion after the hit to the head he took from Matt Cooke.  He'll have to wait a few days before doctors can get a better understanding of how long he'll be out.  

Terrible night for the Columbus Blue Jackets on Monday night.  Not only did they manage just 11 shots on goal in a 6-0 loss to the Los Angeles Kings, but they also lost star forward Rick Nash to a lower body injury.  Nash is rumoured to have already been nursing an injury, despite playing.  No word yet on how long he will be out.

Wonder what the over/under is on Kyle Beach making the Chicago Blackhawks next season.  The Hawks will be tight against the salary cap and the 6-3, 215 lb
