The Minnesota Wild have announced that they've signed forward Casey Wellman out of the University of Massachusetts. He is an offensive minded center, who is having a break out year in the NCAA. He notched 45 points in 36 games.The Wild plan on keeping Wellman up for the remainder of this NHL season and he'll be in training camp to battle for a roster spot next fall.
