Gainey Out, Which Habs are out?

E-mail Print

With Montreal Canadians GM Bob Gainey stepping down, the new GM Pierre Gauthier will be shifting the focus onto the two young netminders, and the center Tomas Plekanec. It seems that Tomas Plekanec will be staying with the habs, as Gauthier has stated to media that they most likely have an offer ironed out. Price or Halak? There would be no point in having one of them as a back-up goalie, so it makes sense for them to trade one of them for a defender or forward.
