Ponikarovsky Likely Parting Ways

E-mail Print

Alexei Ponikarovsky is likely to be shipped off on March 3rd. As of now, there are 10 teams looking to acquire the 30 year old power forward.

Darren Dreger has reported that at least a 2nd round pick is going to be involved. Which teams would possibly be interested in trading for Alexei? Right now I can see the Vancouver Canucks making a move for him, as they are seeking better depth in their bottom 6 lines. Many other contenders like LA for an example would be interested in trading for him to help boost their playoff chances.

News on this was just broken out 6 hours ago, and we will do our best to follow up on this.
